WORK EXPERIENCE
I have been working as full-time consultant gastroenterologist at Ansh Clinic,
Nikol, Ahmedabad since 15th August, 2022. This clinic is in partnership with
a senior gastroenterologist. We have average 20 OPD consultations and 10
endoscopic procedures per day. Procedures include diagnostic and therapeutic
upper GI endoscopies, colonoscopies and ERCP.
I worked as visiting consultant gastroenterologist, hepatologist and
endoscopist between January 2022 to August 2022 at following hospitals: 1. Anand Hospital, Shahibaug, Ahmedabad

I have completed three years of residency in DrNB Medical Gastroenterology
from Gleneagles Global Health City, Chennai. During this tenure, I got
experience in OPD, indoor patient department, endoscopy and intensive care
unit. I have treated various diseases like acute pancreatitis, chronic
pancreatitis, carcinoma pancreas, liver cirrhosis, hepatocellular carcinoma,
inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal cancer, colonic polyps, carcinoma
esophagus, peptic ulcer, carcinoma stomach. I have also treated emergencies
like upper gastrointestinal and lower gastrointestinal bleeding. I have
experience of more than 1000 upper GI and lower GI endoscopies. I have also
done interventional procedures like endoscopic band ligation, gastric and
colonic polypectomy, endoscopic stricture dilatation, and ERCP. As my
hospital was a liver transplant institute, I have also got experience in
management of post liver transplant patients. I have got good hand on
experience of transient elastography (Fibroscan).
I have done three years of residency in General Medicine in B. J. Medical
College, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India; which is a tertiary zonal reference
center, providing health care to patients from all parts of Gujarat and adjacent
states. Here I have treated emergencies like Myocardial Infarction, Diabetic
Ketoacidosis, Status Asthmaticus, Status Epilepticus, Organophosphorus
Poisoning, Snake bite, Hepatic Encephalopathy with Hematemesis, Cardiac
Arrhythmias. I have treated various infectious diseases like Tuberculosis,
Enteric Fever, Acute Gastroenteritis, Malaria, Dengue, Chikungunya etc. I
have managed chronic illnesses like Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension,
Chronic Kidney Disease, Liver Parenchymal Disease, CV Stroke,
Congestive Cardiac Failure, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Systemic Lupus
Erythematosus, HIV/AIDS etc. I have also managed patients admitted in
Intensive Care Unit.
